4th Annual Swaner Nature Festival
Basin Recreation Field House - 1388 Center Drive, Park City
Saturday, June 21, 2008 - 11:00 am to 4:00 pm

Round up the family and walk, run, bike or carpool to the Nature Festival. The festival is a free, family-friendly event with something for everyone including: music, outdoor recreation, an art contest, local food, and more! Join us for a fun and exciting day in beautiful Park City.


FESTIVAL INFORMATION AND SCHEDULE

  • 11:00 am – Beginning Wildlife Photography Class and Walk
  • 11:00 am – Nature Walk
  • 12:00 pm – GPS 101 Class *
  • 1:00 pm – Wildflower and Weed Walk
  • 1:30 pm – Geocaching and GPS Walk *
  • 2:30 pm – Creative Writing Workshop
  • 3:00 pm – Geocaching and GPS Walk *

* Must attend the GPS 101 class or be proficient with a GPS unit to enroll in the Geocaching and GPS Walks.

Directions

From I-80:

  • Take I-80 Exit 145 for Kimball Junction / Park City
  • Turn onto UT SR-224 Southbound towards Park City
  • At the first intersection immediately South of the offramp, turn left onto Ute Blvd.
  • Head East on Ute Blvd. for .35 miles to the stop sign at the corner of Ute Blvd. and Center Dr.
  • The Basin Rec Fiendhouse is on the East corner of the intersection

From Park City:

  • Head Northbound on UT SR-224 towards Kimball Junction
  • Turn right onto Ute Blvd. just before the I-80 onramps
  • Head East on Ute Blvd. for .35 miles to the stop sign at the corner of Ute Blvd. and Center Dr.
  • The Basin Rec Fieldhouse is on the East corner of the intersection

Nature Festival will take place rain or shine. Join the Swaner EcoCenter and more than 50 partner organizations for a celebration of Utah’s great outdoors.
